Cologne University Hospital is legally required to maintain a quality management system. Quality management ensures that processes run smoothly and that their quality can be continuously improved, thereby ensuring the satisfaction of patients and employees. Certification is currently still voluntary.
Consumer expectations regarding the quality of healthcare services are constantly rising. To help you understand our diagnostic and therapeutic services, we have had selected procedures and services evaluated by independent certification bodies.

Sports Medicine Specialists Recommended by the DGSP
Dr. Benedikt Körne and Dr. Magdalena Wozniak are listed among the recommended sports medicine specialists by the German Society for Sports Medicine and Prevention (DGSP). Their listing is valid through October 2028.
Sustainable Practices
We have been awarded the “Sustainable Practice” quality seal by the Praxissiegel e.V. Foundation. To earn this certification, our outpatient team completed a training program consisting of several e-learning modules. As part of this process, we also had to develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability plan.
