Lecture

Six 90-minute lectures take place in the 8th semester. In these lectures, principles of diagnostics and therapy of General Medicine are taught using examples of common daily practice and clinical cases. A common thread running through all lectures is the role of the GP in climate change; there are lectures also dedicated to the culture of error and safety in medicine and the importance of diversity sensitivity in primary care. The lectures are based on the findings of evidence-based medicine and practice-relevant guidelines.

Attendance is not compulsory. A final exam in MC format (multiple choice/non-open questions), together with the grade from the clinical rotation and LoMA, results in an overall grade for the subject of general medicine.
