In the elective block "General Practice in Action" we offer insights into general practice.
The elective block is open to all Students. In particular, it is aimed at students who have received a place via the rural doctor quota.
GPs from rural areas of Cologne provide insight into their practice finances, give tips on setting up a practice and discuss clinical cases.
But it's not just about rural medicine, general practice as a whole is also taken into consideration.
Each semester, a different selection of the following topics will be highlighted:
- Practice finances
- What types of practices are there?
- Subsidies for setting up a practice
- Practice management
- How do I structure my further training?
- Cases from rural medical practice
